Corporate Social Responsibility

We support growth
in our community

Our business idea goes well beyond goods production and profit maximisation. Inspired by the principles of social generativity and shared value creation, we think local development is a strategic objective for any company looking into the future.

SOCIO-CULTURAL INITIATIVES

The concept of social wellbeing cannot only be linked to the economic development of a certain area and to the income of its inhabitants. Its cultural treasures represent a crucial indicator to value its viability and to assess its growth potential. This is the very reason why we often offer our contribution in organising socio-cultural initiatives for mixed audiences.

SUPPORTING BARI TEAMS
AT ROBOCUP

Robotics is not only a technical subject but also an opportunity to acquire soft skills. Learning robotics from an early age means both getting ready to professions of the future and expressing creativity, developing problem solving, getting used to collaboration and communication. For this reason we financed the participation of a group of students from Bari to RoboCup robotics competitions: in Montreal in 2018, in Hannover in 2019.

SUPPORTING THE
“CASA DI PANDORA” CENTRE

"Casa di Pandora" is a planned support centre that will provide free treatments to young children affected by autism spectrum disorder, will offer qualified support to their parents, and will educate the community about autism.
It is the first centre of its kind in the province of Bari based on a project by A.S.F.A. Puglia, supported by “i Bambini delle Fate” foundation. We are with them, providing continued funds, because we believe that “Casa di Pandora” can be a place of relief for families and of real social inclusion.

ENDOWING THE "COLORIAMO LA GIOIA" PROJECT (Let’s colour joy)

We are extremely proud to have financed a pioneering initiative, a one of a kind in Southern Italy, whose results will be presented in a research paper.
Thanks to this project, put forward by the Bari Sud Rotary Club and entrusted to a world famous female designer, the walls and equipment of the MRI Unit of Bari’s Children Hospital were covered in drawings and colours in order to stimulate the young patients’ imagination and make this environment more in tune with their sensitivity and wellbeing.
SUPPORTING THE “PETRUZZELLI E TEATRI DI BARI” FOUNDATION

We regard art as a profound expression of the human spirit and an enriching and growing experience for people. This is why for many years we have supported all the activities of one of the most important institutions in our city, which represents the great theatre tradition and language innovation of art. We believe that business is culture and culture is doing business.
SPONSORING "HISTORY LECTURES”

These meetings, organised by Laterza Publishing House with the participation of big names of the Italian cultural panorama, represent a great opportunity for the whole community to get together and reflect on crucial historical events. Understanding history is the first step to deal with innovation.
SUPPORTING THE "MAGGIO ALL'INFANZIA" THEATRE FESTIVAL

We take primary school classes to the theatre for free where they can enjoy Teatri di Bari shows through the “Invita una classe a teatro” initiative (Invite a class to the theatre). This is our way to express our desire to spread culture amongst young generations starting very early with school children.

EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES

We have always made our know-how available to schools and universities. We truly believe that the collaboration between the business world and education can trigger a virtuous circle essential for developing excellences in our local area.
